I love this flat iron. Its the best I’ve had so far and I have gone through quite a few. The CHI is definitely the worst by far and I also have a HerStyler and I still use that occasionally when I do someone elses hair but this is a definite tool for me. I dont have the straightest hair and I would classify my hair as crinkly curly with relaxed ends but I’ve been growing it out for almost a year without a relaxer and this is quite useful when I need it because after I wash my hair and straighten it I can just wrap it each night to maintain my style and I dont use it everyday because it lasts until I wash my hair and style it again.

I love this flat iron! I previously had a Soleil for 7 years and it finally bit the dust one morning when I was halfway through straightening my hair! Yikes! I definitely got my money’s worth out of it and certainly expected the same out the replacement. I comparison shopped for nearly a week before I finally selected the Babyliss iron. It is digital and heats up to 450 degrees, which was a must for me. I have thick, somewhat coarse hair that has natural curl and frizz in it. With this iron, it only takes me about 10-15 minutes tops to straighten my hair, and with the ion plates, my hair literally glides through the iron. I am very happy with this product and hope it “lives” as long as my last iron. Also, it was defintely a plus to get this for about $15-20 less than on the hair product site I originally researched. This hair straightener is the best hair straightener ever. I’m a real person who purchased this hair straightener (but it says Jilbere on mine) at a beauty salon shop. My hair always feels very soft and looks shiny after I straighten. My favorite thing about this hair straightener is that, not only does it straighten my hair EXTREMELY FAST (and I have thick wavy hair) but the plates glide through hair smoothly. I hate how some hair straighteners pull hair, this one does not pull hair. I actually bought another two hair straighteners since I bought this one, just to try something new since I have had it so long. Well, I ditched out on my two new hair straighteners and gave them away and am continuing to use this (going on two years). I have never had a hair straightener that works like this. It heats up super quick and gets really hot. I use it with a hair protectant spray and it works great. Flattens my hair in one pass, so I can straighten it really fast. After having used a $20 straightener just to see if I’d actually use one if I had it, I finally stopped wanting to fry my hair, and decided to upgrade. I picked this one out because of the long titanium plates, and because I’d heard an alarming amount of bad things about the Chi flat irons.

I have been so happy with this straightener. My hair is super straight, smooth, and shiny. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair since using it. It’s glides right through my thick, stubborn, wavy hair. One stroke usually gets it perfect, some extremely stubborn parts take two. It’s so easy and fast to use. I’ve got so much hair (a hairdresser once called me “Mufasa”, if that’s any indication), and I’m done in about 15 minutes.

My stylist recommended this product for my medium to long hair that tends to have some wave and frizz. I have never had a flat iron, but I can successfully get the smooth, straight look I want in 7 minutes, and my hair is pretty thick. The iron heats up in one minute, and is easy to use because of its slim design. I would recommend not starting at anything beyond the 35-40 setting to start with or you may really damage your hair. Other than that, this is a great purchase and I’m happy to have it!
